Don't get hung up on that expensive plug-ins crap. most DAWs have everything you need to make whatever you want. it's up to you to put in the work if you want to be cost-effective and make it work. OR you can take your time, figure out EXACTLY what you are looking for, and get that. no need to keep buying plug-ins either. There is no holy grail ultimate plugin. most are the same thing repeated with a different GUI and a bell or whistle effect. don't get tricked!

great video! but i'm surprised that no one noticed u got the bass parts wrong. in the original it actually changes a lot throughout the whole song, as opposed to just one bassline loop. there's a surprising amount of bassline variety, which perhaps is why it's such a good song. not just that, there's little changes in the chord progression too. i dig the remake though 🔥

I literally learned how to produce music with your videos, im so grateful, I have a question, if there's saturation in the Ballad E Piano track, does that affect the overall mix even if the entire mix channel has adaptive limiter? also, would you bounce it as is, after is done 17:58 or do u usually do something else before you export it ?

It kind of depends on how hard you pushing the saturation and if you gain matching as well. Typically speaking I wouldn’t push distortion or saturation this hard but did it to match the VHS version of the song and chromaglow gives that authentic analog hotness to the track. But if that’s the sound I was going for I would bounce as is leaving the limiter as the last plugin in the chain always. Not sure if I answered the question or not. Let me know if you got any other questions
