Moreso LCS and VCS on PC. Also VCS was kinda similar engine to GTA SA. It's sad they shut it down, I think keeping those around would do good for games preservation.

I used to emulate the PS2 version on PSX on my long outdated PC with barely any knowledge of how to optimally emulate games, it ran pretty good.I Beat the whole game on keyboard as I had no controller. definetely gotta try this mod at one point, looks way less tedious.

Cool! Thanks for the video, Ben! I'm currently completing VCS on emulator on Android (which feels more enjoyable, then on PSP) and then planned to beat LCS, either natively on Android, or also on emulator. But maybe will try this re:lcs on PC too, as I hate using gamepads :)

The mobile version definitely ain't bad at all either, I'd argue it's the best official version of the game

@@LedYouAshtray How difficult is the LCS? As for me, for example, VCS seems quite difficult, I think I would already drop it, if I did not have a "save" feature in the emulator 😅

@@Plumber913 it's honestly very easy especially if you know where some of the weapon locations are, when I found out where an AK was in the early game, it was never difficult for me again. Shootouts are very easy thanks to the very generous lock on

This port is good idead, but it's a mess. The ammu nation guy murders you all the time. In the last "stable" you can't lean forward, or back because that also moves the camera for some reason and you can't see where you're going. And now the menu got broken. It's blank and I can't save or change stuff.

The psp version is not the definitive version to play the game. The ps2 version has stuttering issues. The mobile version is... Well who is going to play a gta game with mobile controls? Now the PC mod is too buggy and is the only definitive version to play the game. This game is cursed

No, thanks to taketwo, I "understood" it back then because there were theories about LCS coming out with the(still unannounced) definitive edition, and we found what a shit show that was, because of the cease an desist the author stopped developing this and pulled out his download link, what we have now is reuploads

There should be, it's says relcs so it could be a reverse engineered code that's ported to a mod but I could be wrong, the vcs mod earlier was just a barebones DIY dyom mod for gta sa which broke more than it functioned

@@Zorikane it has nothing to do with take2. I talked with one guy who was involved in project. There is gta VCS mod with finished map, soundtrack etc but only first 20 missions are avaliable. He told me that it was really hard do convert this missions to san andreas enginge so they abonded the project
