I feel like a good alternative to the name would be captive entertainment-you being the entertainment, who at the end is imprisoned to continue said entertainment. I do understand why they named it as they did, though: the hype around games with the mascots In the name is a lucrative market-Fnaf, bendy and the ink machine, poppy’s playtime, etc. it feels like it’s a whole new genre of games :p
