What's great is that they didn't try putting on a deep scary voice or try to make the voice sound scarier than it actually it. Instead, he said the line so casually. He sounded like he was enjoying himself, enjoying the image of you suffering. Saying what he wants to say and expressing how he feels in the moment. This honestly made it so much more terrifying to me lol

I like this sequence so much cuz you can never run away from nightmares. When u try to run away in a nightmare you either run really slowly or you cant move at all and thats whats happening here as well. The player tries to run away from huggy but cant run and even when u reach the end of the hall theres a wall there and you have nowhere to go so huggy eventually gets you.

I have so many questions after this chapter but I know that I can't fully trust any side now. Everyone is suspicious be it poppy,Ollie or prototype.(kinda believe Ollie might be prototype) Catnap's behavior was also uncertain.

Nah Prototype seems to be the villain in this case. After watching plenty of theory vids and videos about all the tapes and files, the conclusion is that somehow the Prototype can talk brain-to-brain as it were with the other toys or has some weird mind control ability. Notice how Poppy turned on us out of nowhere in the end of chapter 2 but in this chapter she was helping us again. And the tape of Kissy Missy on the train with all those instructions suddenly changing to "RELEASE THE STRAPS" and then Kissy Missy is shown covered in blood and everyone around her is dead. Clearly someone, something or she herself did something under control of the Prototype. One vid i saw (i think it was SuperHorrorBro who said this) confirmed that the messages we see when we die are messages from the Prototype - like, how is he communicating with us when we're dead??? Some other files indicated that Catnap was the boy we see in that grey portrait in the trailer and according to them the prototype communicated with him, told him where to get a grabpack to escape but he got himself electrocuted by the green hand and he was then decidedly turned into, yes, Catnap in order to save his life. Why Catnap, i have no idea but thats what i heard

I don't think Ollie is the prototype. Mainly because the voices don't match up. And it seems like the prototype cant hold a voice for too long, as seen in one of the tapes.

They've yet to give a legit reason why the protagonist came back to the factory and why they are trying to go further in and down instead of up and out. Everyone else is dead. Poppy is a doll. Just carry her out, Kissy is MIA or dead, and the kid we've been hearing has yet to be confirmed as actually being alive or a kid at all since it could be an elaborate trap by the prototype who has clearly been following our every move.

I mean, the protagonist came back because someone sent them a letter saying the coworkers were still there and needed to find the truth about what happened to them. (if it were me, I woulda been like fuck em) Protag doesn't know they're all dead until the end of chapter 3 when Poppy shows them the Hour of Joy tape. And they can't leave because the Prototype will kill them if they try to escape (per Poppy or Ollie's words) which is why poppy did what she needed to do to keep the protag in playtime co. so that they could defeat the prototype and be done with this bullshit ass company lol.

@Nvbiia A random single stupid letter wouldn't be enough to lure anyone to a place where everyone seemingly vanished overnight years ago. You might ignore it, but me? I'd report it to the authorities and let them handle it. I sure as hell wouldn't go there unarmed and alone and seemingly with nobody else knowing I went there. This is something I criticize all of these types of setups for. It happened in FNAF, Bendy, and Poppy (the list can go on, but you get my point). At least in Freddy there IS a legit reason: it's a different person nearly every game going for different reasons. In Bendy, Henry thought he was going to be met by Joey in person, not knowing it was a lie. He tried to leave, but the floor itself collapsed and led to everything else in his attempt to escape. Audrey got dragged in in her case against her will, so that one gets a free pass. Poppy? "We're totally all alive after years being missing... in a toy factory... Come alone!" The protagonist had literally complete freedom to waltz right back out once they noticed nobody else was there, and hell once Huggy was dealt with, there was nobody that could have stopped them from climbing back up and out via the vents.

Throughout the entire game the idea of shame and guilt was seen on walls and even voiced in that one VHS tape with nightmare Huggy. Protag probably didn't ONLY come back because of the letter but because of that guilt they probably have knowing what went on or their part in the mess. Some people just feel that strongly. And yeah, I agree. Some game setups are pretty silly. I too was thinking I would've walked right back out after walking in and seeing how awfully abandoned the place looked. Hell, Protag could've taken a gander at the establishment from afar and seen that it was falling apart. Protag also could've done research and saw that the place got shut down. But, to me, that just goes back to the whole guilty conscience thing. Protag was too curious and once they got in, especially after freeing Poppy, I guess the only way was forward. There's somebody in this world who would've done the same thing, though many would be like fuck that shit cause WHY?! Protag was just that someone who did.

@Nvbiia There ARE ways to justify it, but thus far none of the reasons make sense OR they just make the protagonist look awful. Think about it... If "guilt" was the reason for them coming back and going through this, that raises the question: guilt for what? Does this imply that the protagonist was contributing to the experiments on the children? Or could it mean they feel guilt for surviving the hour of Joy and escaping? If that's the case, then they would definitely know what to expect and definitely to stay away since they would know everyone is already dead. Yet here they are heading down to the bottom level to take on the prototype for basically nothing beyond: he must die. He DOES, but there's nothing beyond that.

@@Kamina.D.Fierce It could be that they're not only a survivor of the Hour of Joy, but that they were also a low level employee who didn't know about the dark secrets of the company. Poppy said it herself that a lot of the employees who were killed were confused by what those toys were, implying that only the scientists and the higher ups were aware of the experiments. So a mixture of survivor's guilt and intense curiosity must've prompted the protagonist to continue on despite the obvious dangers.

may I just ask out of all the characters, it seems this one has a personal thing for Huggy seeing how even in the other hullitionation Huggy is the one there not any other character. Unless somehow the character we play as is a sort of scientist and was the one of many to help with the experiment on Huggy first I wouldn't know entirely but it seems our character has some sort of connection to huggy the most out of any other character.
