Just to add a couple of things. I'm not sure if you guys mentioned them in the video. There are dip switches inside the DM608 and DM810. They control GTO settings, ground type, and other features. My AC manual did not mention them. I had to call the good folks at AC, and they told me about the dip switches inside. I was looking for a way to turn off GTO and the app does not allow you to do so.

Dang it. I can't believe I missed this one. So, the tutorial on AudioControls website says to use 0db pink noise to set the input gains. You use the milc light to check the source clipping of the headunit. Then use the input maximized lights to set the proper input gain. Are you guys using tones? How would you go that if the full input signal is going to split into a two way active? Wouldn't the pink noise be more accurate for the input gain signal as instructed by AudioControl?

You guys talked about using the Idatalink Maestro AR with the Audiocontrol DSP's as if this was already working. I just flashed an AR module a couple of days ago, and the only options listed were Kenwood and Audison. What am I missing?

Hi. At 33.24 you were asked if it was necessary to install new speaker wire and you said no. I suppose that would work if you were running semi active for the fronts and the tweeter was connected to to the midrange through a passive crossover network. But what about if I was going fully active? Wouldn’t I need to run new speaker wire through the door boots? So it’s going to be channel 1 and 2 for the tweeters, 3 and 4 for the midrange and channel 5 will take care of my Audison underseat woofers wired or parallel to a 2 ohm load. The car is a 2011 BMW e90 non hifi base model. Keeping the factory head unit the DSP is an Audison Bit Ten D and the amp is a JBL GTR 7535 5 channel. Thanks

Do you guys think Class A/B vs Class D amps in an SQ setup matter anymore? I was considering using the D-6.1200 with an LC-1.800 for the sub channel, but I was looking at relatively high end components and everyone keeps recommending Class A/B only higher end amps. This setup is going in a truck, I was thinking about using the Morel Hybrid 63's just trying to make sure I piece all this together well. The JL VXi amps look awesome but they are expensive AND they only have like 10 bands of EQ, the audio control just seems to kind of out class it to me other than looks....lol

I have (2) 4 channel amps and a monoblock hooked up to the dm810, I'm using input channels 1-2, 3-4 for mids and highs and using 5-6 for lows but now I think I'm going to use 7-8 instead. Which input should I use for (1) monoblock amp?For the outputs 1-2, 3-4 for tweeters, 5-6, 7-8 for mids, 9 sub / 10 sub I'm asking this because in order to get the gains set right for the mono block I have to set both 5-6 simultaneously instead like inputs 1-2 and 3-4 I can set the gains for both one time, also on the output I have to set both 9 and 10 simultaneously for SS and LP and output levels etc..

What would do you do if you have 4 doors for dm810. Would channel 1-2 be front highs 3-4 rear highs 5-6 front mids and 7-8 rear mids then subwoofer on 9 or 10. Everything I read or see in videos no one talks about the rear doors. Thanks if anyone can help

how do u hookup the rca for the monoblock from the headunit to dm-810 to the monoblock amp? because inputs are either 5 or 6 for mono on the dm-810 and a head unit has 2 rca outputs and monoblock amp has 2 rca inputs. Would I use inputs 7-8 for monoblock instead of inputs 5 or 6?

Ya, so I'm barely finished installing the dm-608 and, ya, uh holy f-c- if I've ever felt overwhelmed by option and questions... My car has NEVER sounded so good, I've got nices mids and highs and way more bass than I need. It really didn't sound bad at all before but wow,,, and I've barely started cracking it open. Absolutely incredible lil 5 or 600 dollar box. But I have sooo much to figure out now. I'll be in my car for the next 8 or 12 hrs at least

I have a 2018 challenger rt, and I want to keep the stock had unit. Would I need a LOC if I used the audiocontrol DM810 or audison bit one? I'm undecided between the two currently.. Also, I have 8 PRV 6MB250NDY's that I want to use on my front stage. Would I need one amp per door, or could I get away with one amp for all 8 speakers? Thanks in advance!

I have the D-4.800 and am kinda disappointed. Not that is isn't a great Amp, and it's built well with lots of power for a small form factor, but how could Audio control leave out the ability to tune this thing via smart phone!!! I have to lug my gaming Laptop out to my truck if I want to make small changes, and hook it in Via USB. I see they have some sort of dongle for the .1200, but leaving that feature out on the .800 is super messed up. I get it's not the flagship, but it's still a super pricey piece of equipment and the competitions products have full featured smart phone apps for their stuff. Kind of a bummer to be honest.

It is a 4 channel amp with 2rca outputs to feed another amp. If the front is a passive system with a sub, you can run the amp 3 Channel mode.
