Lets Talk About the GORUCK Rucker Vs the GR1

Hi Jeff, I’ve got the Rucker 4.0, 25l and it’s the most comfortable pack I own. Great for EDC, Love the hi vis interior and the plate pockets work great for my 13” MBP and iPad. I added an AON organizer to the Velcro backing ( tucked in the plate pocket flap ) and don’t miss the lack of zippers on the inside. Use it for rucking 2-3 x a week ad it’s become my favorite pack.

@@SkipHarper Velcro at 4:30 am is my arch nemesis. The pockets also will not be as secure. If you did it, that’s great GR packs are awesome I had a hard time swapping out of the GR1 Slick (though I end up using my all time favorite pack). I Really believe the reason GR made the changes they did to the 4.0 was to cut down on people using them as an EDC bag. They removed some of the versatility my taking away that front pocket. And making the inside pockets Velcro was a downgrade. But that 210d backing is a dream. And the plate carrier pocket holds my tablet (3.0), good to know you can fit a 13” MBP in there. I figured it would fit, but could not confirm as I do not have one.
