Hang on ! Your on a building site , construction site Do you still have Access to electric plug facilities, The main concern , what if the machine stops in the middle of a job and is to far away from the plug in power ? What if it stops in a area that has Access ,and needs to be cleared ? Not convinced ,but can see the point of no emissions and smaller machines ,yes the could be the way .

Probably takes a bit of extra planning. It would be nice if it was built with hot swappable batteries so you could load them into a truck to charge at the yard overnight.
