Has I read comments about Uncle John and the Long reach excavator last time you used the mats Chris the 220 definitely going to need a bath 🛁 after this job Chris it's late Friday evening here in the UK and today been nice and warm and sunny been to see the new lifeboat down the coast of Kent south east England with fish and chips supper after thanks 👍 Chris

Those mud mats make a person love physics, that's for sure.. but damn.. pucker factor is still reeeeally high!!!!! Your channel and a couple others have been making me willing to tackle more projects around my 40 acre homestead (in progress), so thank you for that. It's nice to study and learn ideas/techniques from people that actually know what they are doing and are efficient at it as well. Thank you for that.

It has been along time since I’ve seen you taking the 220 out mud surfing on mats, glad you got yourself out of trouble when you started sinking. I would consider that mud you were more akin to quicksand, or primordial Oz. Looks nice though, thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.

Just a thought for a shop job. Make a set of stout forks (like a forklift) and these mats would be easy to put out or move closer to be put out. They make those extend a boom forks but not that fancy - maybe a set of forks off a trashed out one of those and an adaptor made. Just a thought. Can be used in house clearing - moving heavy stuff... Mabye a log would be better to sweep the pond with. Tough job without fire.

That's insane but I've watched you to do it before but it's still crazy keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep watching you're truly the Picasso of ponds 😊😊

It’s takes a very long time for organic stuff to rot away when it’s underwater. No oxygen slows it way down. I put enzymes in my pond to help with that. But I don’t have water running in and out. He would have to treat that pond everyday almost. That’s going to look good full of water.

Back in the days of steam tractors there was a plowing rig that would be perfect for this type of job. They used 2 tractors fitted with large winches mounted sideways in the middle of the tractor. They'd park on opposite sides of the field, or pond in this case, and they'd run the cable out from one of the tractors over to the other one and hook up kind of a double sided plow to it. As the one tractor reeled its cable in to pull the plow towards it, it unspooled the cable from the other tractor. Then they'd move forward a bit and pull the plow the other way. A plow probably wouldn't work for a pond, but I bet someone could come up with some kind of sled or roller that would do the trick.
