I'm from NJ; at this point we're not sure how much rain (if any) we'll get. NC, on the other hand, will probably get at least 5-10"!

It’s amazing that y’all have that much pond work. There’s a lot more of them around y’all than me but still yet I never hear of or see anyone working on any near me. Dirt perfect is the only one I’ve seen doing anything but he’s on the other side of the river. I advertise for pond construction and maintenance but never really see anything.

It’s far worse, I know of a pond with a failing dam for which it’s deemed will lead to loss of life when it fails and CT DEEP won’t let it be drained because it has an invasive weed!

Yeah John use to be a machinist. But they both been around the work there whole life. Family business usually involves almost everyone at one point or another for the occasion help when needed.

Curious, when you do these pond/drain repairs or even digging a new pond do you have to have permits from the state or town? Are there inspections involved? We have a state Dept of Environmental Management that does all the permitting and inspections for work around water. Thus, there is some planning and time involved before any digging can take place.

The old stuff was corrugated metal. The new stuff is ADS and smooth inside. Not sure on the specifics of this job but you make it what ever it needs to be to get water from here to there based on your elevations.
