Modderfontein is always a winner. My combo there is clove, tjop-tjop with the raptor oozing floats. Best session was 138 fish in 8hours. There is some proper barbell there aswell 17-18kgs range.

Very good video, I noticed alot of the people ask me about the rules.... 1 barbless hook and no papping.... Think that was ment to be for specimen dams, no one checking methods, think its just better as a paogooi dam and beautiful place. Definitely my favourite fishing place

Hi Loutjie, great video. I always fish at Modderfontein, raptor and swg is a winner with banlic and duiwelsdrek dip, never a blank day when fishing that combo.

Don't fear the hippos. They tend to stay away diring the day. Come out at night to eat the grass. But normally on the otherside. Fishing area does have a hippo fence that is tough. Though in winter when the water is low then just keep an eye out as you might have to cross the fence by 20m to get to the water.
