It's amazing how the technique has not changed in over 25 years. I remember when I was a kid going to the Vaal Dam, this one guy spent about 20min making one of these bait balls. He had everything, the plastic grenade thing, the mix, the special flavour, he created a work of art, it was magnificent. He spent ages making it, then it came time to cast, he had a huge run up and everything, the man whipped the rod and the bait flew over his head at max speed. About 10m in the air in the line snapped and the bait flew about 100m more not even joking, a huge distance into the dam the giant bait ball landed with a huge splash. I laughed so hard I started crying

@@letsgofishingza yes you are right i started of like that now ive bought my first graphite 13 f00t rod i now have a bass one to . i have a total of three its my 8 foot then my 13 foot then my 7foot bass rod i now know which rod is for what dankie oom for the good lesssons

We were at dam wall today with my kids Great fishing! Bun spice 101, mystic spice, bloemhof 21/ raptor were perfect on the ball Hard garlic floats and kiana oozing floats were the winners on the hook Aniseed hard floats were also consistent But the game changer was tjop tjop spray on the ball

Annswer: 24lbs leader on 10lbs line and 18lbs leader on 7lbs or 5lbs line. Since I was introduced to fishing by my friend who also recommended LL Signature Series, the products always work for me 🎣
