This weeks video will be different, as it's the first video from our French holiday, but while there are no dumps to hunt on or rivers worth larking in over there, we did go bargain hunting, and there's a lot of history to be found there too. Grief is the high price we pay for the joy of love and true friendship in this world of time... But the legacy of love and memories are a priceless... There's a lovely little poem which I like that says... I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun; Of the happy memories I leave when life is done. 🙂😎🐼

Thank you Phil and Caroline. MOM= a hold over from before the unadulterated food act. When the baker put nasty things in bread to use less flour and make more profit . Alum, plaster, saw dust. Made people ungodly constipated. Also the Miller would cut the flour sold with these things. The more middle man the raw materials of food had, the more likely they were adulterated before rhe consumer got them to keep price down and profit up. I remember alwayscmy mom kept fig syrup, prunes or MOM in the fridge.😁

Yes Rob, I went into the mines at 16 straight from school. I served an apprenticeship as a mechanic and worked in underground headings and coal faces after i qualified.
