Ironically, my S08 arrived just today. The fit took me a while to get right. The stock tips were the only ones that worked for me. It's nice to have a mellow and warm planar. The rest of my planar IEMs are all pretty much neutral brightish. I find it funny that people are complaining that these are too warm in the treble. Every other planar IEM on the market has a neutral to bright-ish treble. More tuning options in more price brackets is a healthy thing for the hobby.

The S08 and the OG P1 Max are my favorite planars, I switched the cases with my S12, because it was an oval zipper case, which I prefer over the hard case on these.

I replaced my ORIVETI OD200 based on your ranking list and reviews. S08 was great. Sounded just the way I like it. I was worried because the price is down from the OD200, but price does not directly correlate to sound quality.

Since it's a planar, does it take to EQ better than for example single dd or multidriver iem at the same price point?

I think most iems take eq well. Overall solid sound and build for the price.
