I love when Sarah gets excited and cannot think of the right words for examples..... This is me all the time. I am glad I am not alone. I appreciate you for being you, Sarah!!!!

Where could you get the outline for a ballerina

Sarah you are so much fun and I love to watch you paint. Maybe someday I can paint as well as you.

Sarah shows me that going for perfection is not useful (or enjoyable). I see her "mistakes" and then she turns it into "I am not mad about that" and I know that I need to say that to myself. Thank you Sarah. You've started to extiguish my need for perfection.

Yes. Yes. Yes. A 100 times over!! We love hearing that you're throwing out the need to be perfect when creating. There really are no mistakes when painting, just happy little accidents.

I loved painting this so much that I printed off four different poses and painted them all! Such a fun painting and great for practising painting those thin lines and small details

I love these shorter and simpler projects after the harder one (monochromatic vintage truck)!

I love this dancer - it reminds me of when my granddaughter was younger & took ballet.

Sarah moves the paper after the spray Me: woah that was a strong line Sarah: well that’s a strong line Michael: it is her spotlight Me: total perspective change 🤯

I like it. How many paintdrops are in the spraybottle?
@LetsMakeArt3 жыл бұрын
Just enough to let your tube touch the paint.

I did ballet for years, so I can't help it, I'm bursting to suggest that for added movement in the picture there's another option. - if the leg in the air is painted 'a la seconde' (meaning to the side), as if the knee is facing the ceiling and the heel and arch of the foot visible, it should look as if she's slowly turning. I can't remember the name of the move now but in real life it's a flashy one!

Thank you for sharing! That is a great idea.

You could put it in the triptych!

Sarah, how much paint did you add to your spray bottle? I may have missed that part.
@LetsMakeArt3 жыл бұрын
Not very much. Sarah shows in the Abstract Wash project that she only adds a little in so she doesn't waste it. As long as the tube touches the paint you are good to go!

Horizontal strips that are uneven, not prison style stripes for a thinner look !!

Sarah mentioned a while ago that we would paint Keenan. I think we should do it. But no tutu! Keenan gets to wear pants.

We may have forgotten about that- making sure to add that to the request list now!
