VFD - Variable Frequency Drive.
A VFD is a type of motor controller that drives electric motor by varying the frequency and voltage of it's power supply. The VFD also has the capacity to control RPM up and RPM down of the motor during start and stop respectively.

Wouldn't it be better to blend AC power from both the grid and solar, rather than switching between them? This way, the system can prioritize using as much solar power as available and seamlessly draw the remaining power from the grid. For example, if the pump needs 5 kW, and solar is generating 2 kW, the system would automatically take 3 kW from the grid. This method optimizes energy usage, reduces electricity costs, and eliminates the need for a changeover switch-as long as the VFD has an internal MPPT to manage solar input efficiently.

For the Solar-Off-Grid Selector switch, is it okay to run both AC & DC through the same switch and if so, what are the details of this particular switch ? Also, how many volts would you be supplying phase to phase to the motor and would it be wired in Star or Delta configuration ?

You can use in full power ( during mid day , best sun. 7.5hp ×700w/1hp = 5250 w. So vfd had enough power. ) 7000/450. = 16 pannels. You can use solar more hours than mid day. Brlecause i calculate as 7000 w. For 5250
