Great video! It looked like a tough trek but well worth it. I checked out your site, but I couldn't find any information on what time of year you did this. I've seen several videos of treks in Nepal, and I'm trying to decide which month would work best for me. I'd love to know what month this portion of your trip to Nepal was in. Thanks, and again, great job. Cheers from Maine, USA. :) Paula
@LetsMeetAbroad3 жыл бұрын
Hi Paula, thanks! It is really worth it! Definitely the best trek we did! We can't wait to go back to do another trek. We did the Annapurna Circuit in September, first we were a bit afraid for the rain, but we had no rain at all! And in September it is still really quiet on the trek (so no stress with finding accomodation), and it was not that cold yet! I would say: the perfect time to go for it! But of course, the weather can be different every year, so you just need some luck with that. Cheers, Adi & Myra

Tilicho Tal is nowhere near the highest lake in Nepal, even less in the world. For example the glacial Imja Tse Tal sits at 5026 meters and the highest Gokyo lakes are at 5157 m. There are several lakes at over 6000 meters in Chile.
