there is a shitty way of "picking" a map, which basically means you have to go to options and exclude all other map types in order to filter out the rotation to only the one map.

Trust me when you're scared, you will shoot almost anything that moves. I know this game isn't exactly close to real life but the immersion is real and you can get trigger happy very easily, especially if you're new.

For those of you who don't already know, AH found out about the Matchmaking Preferences and map options. Ryan was informed on The Patch weeks ago by the time this comment was written so fear not for they already know! :)

+LetsPlay there is a way to pick the map, while in main menu, go into settings, and there is an option of matchmaking preferences, you can select preferred game modes and maps for terrorist hunt and casual matchmaking playlists. (this will only help your chances of getting the map you wanted) but at least the option is there for people smart enough to look.

If you go to the options menu and select "matchmaking preferences" you can turn modes and maps on and off for 5v5 and terrorist hunt. so you can actually pick what map you play by turning off all the ones you don't want to play.

Jeremy said the sniper won't be very useful on that map, but the sniper is the only weapon that can shoot through the plane windows, and it shreds walls, which make it very useful.

Ryan, use Twitch's 417 it is, if not stronger, on par with Glaz' OTs Rifle. One thing for sure, is the fire rate is faster and can kill the Sui-es faster than the automatic in the game. I have never been killed using that weapon, but the only draw back is, that it isn't the 416, so it only carries 10 rounds in the game.

You can actually swap the map!!!! All the players in the squad press start, then go to matchmaking preferences, then scroll down to terrorist hunt preferences and turn off all the maps except the one you actually want to play, you can also select what game mode too!!!! Like so AH can see!!! Keep up the great content guys!

There is a way to choose the map, its just ridiculously hidden and not intuitive. In the settings there is an option for map and gamemode preferences so you need to set that up before starting a game.

Gavin's thing about Air Force One is true. They have a few planes they switch out for vice president and only when the president is on board is it designated AF1 otherwise if its the vice president its regarded as AF2
