NOTE on the bridge section when you get to the 10th fret of the down up down up switch to and octave and stay there for the triplets sounds so good

Cheers mate! Depends on the amp/guitar/tuning tbh! I have high output pickups in this guitar and it’s tuned to C std so that already makes my tone a bit less clean than usual, but I’m just using the one pedal and my amp settings are the same as I usually use. If you’re not getting enough then set you’re amp a little less clean or yea run a light OD before it (or after) both give great results 🤘😊

I think you got the tabs mixed up for the bridge part. You played guitar 2's part while showing guitar 1, and vice versa. Also, guitar 1 shows a powerchord that's not played in the video.

What guitar is recommended for playing queens of the stone age?

For most stuff I’d aim for anything with humbuckers, they flip between C and E standard so you may want a drop pedal if only using one guitar and leave that tuned to e standard. You don’t really need a particular guitar but the C std tuning and humbuckers make a big difference to the tone

Incredible lesson! I wanted to add a tidbit about how to make the end of the second solo easier for people with clinodactyly or otherwise less-mobile pinkie fingers. The 7th fret of the 4th string is the same note as the 12th fret of the 5th string in this tuning. For this lick at the end of the song: C |----------------------------------------------| G |----------------------------------------------| D#|-9h10-9------9------------/14--10--| A#|-------------12-----------------------------| F |------------------------8--------------------| C |----------------------------------------------| You can instead play: C |----------------------------------------------| G |----------------------------------------------| D#|-9h10-9--7h9------------/14--10--| A#|----------------------------------------------| F |------------------------8--------------------| C |----------------------------------------------| This doesn't require any kind of pinky stretch, and while it doesn't sound EXACTLY the same, it lets me + people with similar deformities hit that crucial note that makes it feel how the original does.
