I honestly feel bad for Enzo. I'm autistic, and have pretty bad OCD myself (it's not nearly as bad as his though). I haven't become violent when something disrupts my patterns, schedule, etc. But if buttons were continuously pressed for me, I'd scream or have a complete meltdown and cried. People like that process everything differently. It's like 5x stronger with less of a mental filter than most people. It's something that you have to have a lot of therapy for. I hope the best for that guy.

Also I think it’s crazy that he was the one that was mad when the father confronted him. If u say something like that about a guys teenager daughter and you’re able to walk out of his house u should be on your knees kissing his feet in gratitude. The fact that her father didn’t drag him out of the house by his balls is amazing but the fact that the perv actually thinks he’s the one that should be mad is absolutely insane

When I was 21, fresh out of college, I worked in an office and there was an older man who everyone loved, myself included. He was the "dad" of the office - and I spoke with his own 2 kids who were my age often. After about 6 months, he was on the phone one day with his brother. He asked me to come meet his brother and I happily agreed...until his brother asked about my looks, and they both started talking about my butt.. I was so embarrassed. This was in front of at least 4 other colleagues, and everyone was shocked. They had a whole conversation while I was just standing there about my butt. After many attempts to report (the HR rep kept leaving during our scheduled meeting) I finally went directly to the director of HR and asked to remain anonymous. I just asked that they request him to take his personal calls outside of the office due to the distraction cause I work a phone job and that they had mentioned something sexually inappropriate and it made me really uncomfortable. I wasn't even going into detail and i could tell they didn't want me to. Well, HR actually told him I asked this and he was cold to me and would tell other people he "got told on." HR sucks.
@KatSpade10182 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry that happened to you. If someone is willing to behave that way in front of other employees then I would be very concerned at what they may be capable of behind closed doors. Every job always tells you to report any inappropriate sexual behavior but most times if you do, You end getting fired and the other person gets no disciplinary action against them. Or they make your work life so miserable you're forced to quit. That's so ridiculous that ppl like that are given a free pass to violate someone. You did the right thing by going to HR, they were wrong for failing to protect you.

To those who are experiencing something like this, please take care of yourself first. There will always be another job, another apartment, and neither is worth suffering abuse. Do whatever you can to remove yourself from the situation; if you can't do so right away, document everything you possibly can. But, most importantly, know you are not alone and there are unfortunately so many who understand how you feel all too well. Relating to the one with the disgusting men in NYC: Sadly, not even the police helps most women who have to deal with men like that. When it's literally their job. Many times, they won't even believe them. I personally have been raped by my old boss and the police did not believe me, saying that I most likely wanted it. Two other girls who worked with me in his night club, who were my friends at that time, and I were all 16 at the time. He was at least 40. And he had always been disgusting at work, but one night we made the mistake of going to his friends' apartment with him and another one of his friends after he told us there was a party. Two years later I was attacked by some guy who probably tried to rob me, he hurt me a lot physically and when the police was called by people who heard me screaming (thankfully!), I fell into an hour long loop of panic attacks because I thought nobody would believe me again. For some stupid reason this incident got classified as sexual violence and not an attempted robbery, so I actually had to deal with the same police officers again. And they again failed me, even though they had found the broken glasses right were I was attacked of a previously known drug addict who has robbed people in a very similar manner before. I have no hope when it comes to the police

Idc what anyone says the office bully was a fucking menace 😭
@KatSpade10182 жыл бұрын
In the office story with the sexually inappropriate boss, I don't get why the police said they couldn't do anything about the sexually explicit emails/texts. They absolutely can. That is in descent exposure and a form of sexual assault and they can and should have been arrested and charged for that.

Can we all just agree that Gary didn’t get enough jail time, that client got what was coming to him from Enzo, the bully dude pretty much same story since even the other coworkers never told on Angela (imagine how bad/horrible he must have been to all of them for them to not care about him almost dying!!) and janitor guy got what he deserved as well for stealing especially since that amount of LSD probably cost a lot… am I missing anything?

Mark had it coming 🤷♀️ Also in story 3.....yeah the guy was an absolute asshole but trying to kill someone over an insult is insane. Ironic how the "kind" Angela had it in her to kill someone. And to those who say the stories are comparable they're really not. One involves a man with a well known mental illness who acted very inappropriately in the moment while the other involved deliberate premeditated planning. What Enzo did was not okay but I don't have sympathy for Mark in that regard.

“Mark had it coming” even though he almost died, and yet the guy in Story 3 didn’t deserve to almost die? Not saying you’re wrong, but 2nd story is presented from a neutral 3rd party observer who knew Enzo very well, while 3rd story is presented from the victim’s perspective. And also, I don’t think it was *just* the one insult to Angela that did him in. It was likely months of insults and harassment to her and others that the guy just left out.

story 6: Dude, no one is to blame for you almost burning up but you. You chose to isolate yourself. You chose the noise cancelling headphones. you chose to even put up a "little door". You chose to ignore the vibrations of everyone running to safety. You actually thought they were running to lunch? come on, man. Nobody is that out of touch with reality.
@hayasheeeesh2 жыл бұрын
I'm actually not allowed to wear headphones at my job for reasons like this. Though I do have to wonder what country this is where the building doesn't have fire alarms. Usually those come with flashing lights so deaf people are also aware of any emergencies.
@c.w.82002 жыл бұрын
@@hayasheeeesh I hate fire alarms, I once got a brain injury similar to a concussion from a fire drill (I know, crazy but it can happen) and spent a week in the hospital but they are necessary for the actual fires I guess.

@Josie Gipson why are you blaming him? he suspected nothing of the sorts that something was wrong, so of course he didn't leave because he didn't suspect he was in danger, nor was he ever made aware of things he should be concerned or wary about anything like that. Of course, blaming those other people is not okay, cause obviously it wasn't their fault because they didn't know he was there, but it of course makes sense why he felt like blaming them because he went through such a traumatic experience that, literally, nearly killed him and left him with serious physical, emotional, and psychological pain and damage and trauma, perhaps for the rest of his life, and because of that he must've felt betrayed and left behind. Just because he chose to stay doesn't mean he deserved to have an extremely traumatic experience, nor does it make it okay for you to shame him for not leaving because he didn't know his life would be in danger. For you to blame him completely invalidates and reduces his traumatic experience. I don't disagree with you saying that the other people aren't to blame (which, as he says, is able to come to terms is not their fault after healing) but to blame him is unacceptable because it completely ignores and minimizes his extremely traumatic experience. Please have some empathy.
@alittleofsomething2 жыл бұрын
While I think the coworkers needed to check (their fault) and the guy shouldn't have gotten the headphones (his fault), I think he was supposed to go through that experience. Otherwise we'd hear a story of miraculous survival or not hear about it at all. Though he did survive a terrible burn and that's amazing.
