I think my favorite part of that ending sequence is that it’s one big bomb refusal sequence, but because you don’t speak like most lp’rs, it seems so much more professional somehow. Even with John Juniper screaming at you, and situation becoming all the more dire, you just keep focusing, not a single break in character. I especially love the choice of music, really adds to that professional feel of the sequence.

I'm confused why a flame trap still works perfectly when the plane is depressurized: by all accounts, the air temperature, the wind speed, and the low oxygen levels should make that trap entirely moot.

That was my logic too. I might have depressurized a bit too early, but I don't think timing it better would've made a difference

In reality, there is still oxygen, but not alot, but flames take in oxygen, so in reality, at that height there would be barely any differences, you're not in space, you're in a thin atmosphere, so there is oxygen, just not alot

Presumably the flamethrower uses its own fuel, which will burn for at least a second or two even in a low-oxygen environment. There isn't much air in a combustion engine either, but fuel ignites there.
