I just realized that you are a greenhorn when it comes to gaming videos on youtube. STFU isn't the "antithesis" of all Let's Players. When I discovered youtube back in 2008, these kinds of gaming videos were ideal. No mindless talking, no stupid comments from stupid people playing the game, and nothing but game sounds and edited text. Let's Players weren't even popular at the time. STFU is merely going back to the roots of how gaming videos used to be before all of these changes over the years. If the formula isn't broken, why "fix" it?

How to get tons of people to run a mathematical situation over and over again, while only changing the smallest parameters. Building the largest datasets mankind has ever done, by showing you flashy visual effects instead of pencils. That's just one part. At what point is there a difference between a human playing in a digital world, and a human teaching a digital entity how to operate in a human world? How would you teach it? how would you convince people to teach it? Wouldn't it be nice, if instead of paying people to do it, you could paint it purty and make them pay you for their work?
