This was so cute!! I love how enthusiastic Earth is every time he understands your Thai and the way he tries so hard to answer in English as much as he can while looking to Mix for help finding the words 💙 I hope he gets some encouragement on his English, his pronunciation is so good. And Mix's delight at finding out you've been to his sister's restaurant was so sweet, I bet that was a first for him.

You can tell Mix really enjoyed this interview because he was laughing very deeply haha. Earth was maybe a bit stressed with the translation and trying to understand (and also to be polite and not speak too much, so the translator could have it a bit easier to explain) but I think he also enjoyed the interview. I love how he clapped when you guys told him you were going to have some cat talk hahahaha he was so excited, I love them both so much, seriously. Acting powerhouses cat daddies for the win💗

Yesterday, I watched a different interview with EarthMix for an American KZbin channel filmed the same day, and those hosts didn't use ANY Thai, not even a sawasdi kha at the beginning. Despite them using a translator, Earth looked really bored and unfocused during that interview. I LOVE that y'all have learned some Thai, because the actors clearly appreciate it and really open up. That was super evident with Earth, who was clearly much more engaged in this interview than the one I watched yesterday. Anyway, I've been following y'all for a while since you love Run as much as I do, and this video just confirms that I'm following the right podcasters!

I like that the questions are defferent than usual Thai Media that always focus on love life of actors their questions filled with, " what is your real relationship?", "Are you lovers?" , " What your favourite body part of other?" . This sometimes feel so repetitive .

Oh, I also liked when Mix said ep 5 is his favorite episode of Moonlight Chicken (so good) because Earth asked him "Why?" Earth always does that with Mix to give him the opportunity to explain more. Loved the question and answer about what they eat in real life for a midnight snack. Very fun. Where is the bucket of snacks? Want to try.

Just regarding Mix’s name, I’ve noticed before that when Americans say a word like “hot”, it comes out sounding to the rest of us like “haat” or maybe “haht”. (Now that I think of it, that might be how ma’am ended up being contracted to “mom” in US American English and “mam” or “mum” for the rest of us.) That’s probably why, when you said “Wongratch”, he and we heard “Waangratch”.

I noticed that too: In most of the GMMTV on-screen partnerships, one is fairly good in English (e.g., Ohm, Dunk, Win, Mix, Tay, Phuwin) and one not as good (Nanon, Joong, Bright, Earth, New, Pond). But even the latter group is sharpening their English skills progressively (e.g., Nanon now gets through overseas fan meets quite well without an interpreter). And of course both the younger actors in new partnerships seem to have better English skills overall, e.g., Gemini and Fourth.

@@SleepyKoala14 Knowing GMMTV's scale and prolific experience in this genre, I would guess that there is at least some design in how they decide their pairings -- therefore I agree with you, it's probably not a coincidence. Similarly, their shift to casting pairs of lead roles to actors who were already close friends beforehand (e.g., Earth-Mix, Ohm-Nanon, Force-Book, and now Fourth-Gemini) appears to be rather deliberate, and obviously quite successful.

I have been hoping that Mix's mother will be on an episode of EarthMix Space. Family vibes. Put Mom on a rollercoaster and The Viking?! Oh, no! At least Mom didn't go skydiving. Thanks for using Thai. It's such a fun language to try to learn. Even though I love ATOTS, and it has been my favorite series of all time, Moonlight Chicken is so good that I feel shocked by its quality. I think it is their best work as actors in their careers so far. The acting of Earth and Mix is very detailed and makes use of so much non-verbal communication. They really get into the psychology of their roles in a profound way. The whole cast is good. I liked hearing EM talk about Fourth and Gemini. EarthMix ตลอดไป Thanks!

These guys are so wonderful together. Mix's eyes literally are stunning. They look like they could swallow our souls! hehe Thank you, guys, for doing so well in English for us International fans. I know how difficult it must be to have to do so much fan service in other languages. Last episode later today! Can't wait. I was just saying in comments on Ep7 how amazing the writing and acting is in this series. How real all these characters are. It is not a typical love/hate start to the relationship like most BLs. Even LiMing and Heart don't start off hating each other. There is only a minor misunderstanding. And the two of them very quickly get over that and start to become friends. It was also very cool that JimWen (EarthMix) get the sex stuff out of the way in Ep1, and then the rest of the series is about building the relationship, not about getting back into bed again.

Mimi could’ve done more translating because it seems like Mix was lost in a lot of the conversations so he didn’t answer as much as I’ve seen him in other interviews. I’m not sure if this is typical since I’ve only seen her in this and the PondPhuwin interview. Phuwin is fluent and Pond understands even if he’s not fluent so it wasn’t as noticeable as it was in this interview. I really enjoy these interviews you do. And also that you are fellow NYers.
