There was a large influx of lower end haze in the 2003-2009ish era . Which makes a lot of sense when he talks about Dominican in NY starting to run larger indoor . It is not easy as a novice to run sativa dominant or in this case maybe a pure sativa on a large scale with no experience takes a lot more time and experience to dial these strains in then it does for Asians to do 100 light platinum kush that they pull in 50 days .

This was probably one of the most honest depictions of a successful entrepreneur making heavily salient points on the state of microeconomics(I mean that with the utmost respect) Most content creators have a massive amount of trepidation when it comes to expressing the clear and present obstacles that stand in the way of financial freedom. The prisons have made enough money from targeting marijuana dealers who in all honesty have undoubtedly done far less harm than most pharmaceutical companies. Appreciate you for doing this form of grassroots journalism. Haze has a really nice sativa high in high amounts its nearly psychedelic in nature. Very distinct buzz has no body high or sedation whatsoever.I recently grew some and although it basically took all year to finish it was well worth the effort. Kinda smells like a musty fruit mixed w pepper and a little bit of sweetness as its been curing. This is the only stuff I like to smoke before work.

It's gotten a bit water down over the years but if you can find a good batch it is definitely one of the best smokes! N that guy knew what he was talking abt he was speaking facts. N i probably had sum of his work as well lol I have the original heights puree and seeds from a while back. Flowering one ritenow and it's looking n smelling exactly like heights haze n these are like 20year old seeds! Looking for that pheno to make a mother plant.

Haven’t seen anything like the haze aka piff since 2007. New haven ct. always had maroon hairs smelled like catpiss tasted like soap and smoke smelled like incense. Is that how yours is looking/smelling? From what I hear it’s Cuban black haze
@mdmma85 Жыл бұрын
@MS19891 There are 2 main types of haze I've seen in the heights. One is green haze(which is what I preferred) and the other was the infamous Manhattan brown, that stringy haze you could stick to the wall. Ive also seen many variations between those two, but those were the two best. There also used to be purple haze which was rare but after 05 that was pretty much gone. I have had florida black which is close to piff but I'm not sure if it's the same. It's Def not the same as what I call the green indoor heights haze. It's funny you mention new haven. I remember in 04, 05 new haven was in a haze craze. There was a cut of super silver going around that time that was super potent. A .8 would have me and a friend stuck for hrs. But to answer your question what I have going ritenow was popped from old old seeds n it looks n smells identical to heights haze. Stringy brown hairs, smells like incense, cat piss, menthol, weak bendable branches, wild growth n stretch, bud sites everywhere with fluffy buds developing, nice skinny sativa chainsaw, spikey looking leaves . How I got those seeds was moving a whole Lotta haze packs way back and searching through more than you can imagine over years n years. And even tho I was and still am plugged inn. They(dominicans) would not give me a cutting or seeds under any circumstances no matter what i offered or how many times i asked. I just happened to get lucky finding the seeds i did like a needle in a haystack. I can talk about haze all day long lol. I agree with alot of what that dude said abt the industry. It hit home cause im one of those that got pushed out the game due to shitty bud, price drops, and people opting to go to dispensaries that still don't have the quality i was giving people. I also have a history with sour d but that's another long story. Now I just grow for personal use and want to preserve the haze genetics.

This is factual! His neighborhood was definitely known for for everything he spoke of. I've literally brought weed n drug from those block to hustle for years. 5 drug felonies to my name. The 2 things he didn't mention which most ppl don't mention when speaking about the weed industry is the Chocolate. Chocolate was mainly a NYC thing but it was dominant even during the HAZE n SOUR era. Beef n Broccoli ( Dro, Haze, or Sour mixed with Chocolate) on his side the had PELLET. Elliot ave in the Bronx and Linden/Powell n Brooklyn. 125th street juice bar (A-Black was the name) and Branson had the best Chocolate n da city . Also referred to as BLACKS. Also before HAZE , HYDRO took over . The city was in awe about the weed n the jar. Hydro or DRO set the trend for high grade weed n NYC but was quickly outshines by HAZE. Chocolate n sour faded entering the 2000's like he said just too many bad growers etc..which opened market for the thousands of different names n strains etc to bombard the market.

Used to drive from Baltimore to Washington heights to get haze from the Dominicans , so easy to deal with the Dominicans overall cool ass peeps all business no bs ever , first time drove there and started talking to people within 5 minutes I was buying whatever we wanted ….Crazy times early 2000s, best I’ve smoked other than OG grand daddy purps / green grapes from Sacramento is the best I’ve ever had ….

I had no idea whiteboy kev and his brother opened La Marina. I admittedly don’t know anything about the place but damn. Seriously insane business moves.

Man i wish i could still get the hazes that came from the the east coast mud 2000s , it was pricy, 4k a lb but it killed compaired to the constant indica strains the asians had in their rotations.... good times, thanks for all white boy kev! Best of luck in love and travels from the deep south!

NYC still has that haze and new haze crosses. Growers compete with each other to make the best flower and the breeders are going crazy with the haze and sour crosses we're getting breeders from all over moving to NYC.

@@rchot84 yup thank Thc titan for that, as he showed up with ish like brisker, B.a.g , Nanaz, p.b.b., g.r.c. in 2015-2018 and put all the other NY breeders on hold for 3 years at the international comps. I didn't even see anyone else from the area show up.

More like 7,200 a lb

@@ajpiff860 7.2 a lb ? How much is that a oz? Dear God! The most i ever heard was during the June-aug "droughts" in the 2000s. Got so bad in 07 a dude was asking 5k a lb for Jack Herer that went for 350 a oz in the dfw on its best days! To this day I though 5k? No fucking way?!?! Fort brag to the south was 5.5-6k on base but 7.2k omg thats a ton of cash of one lb of bud.
