I don't recommend transferring GKs for a hit since you are basically burning a Clean Sheet for it. See if you can hold until you don't have to take a hit to do so.

Not worth it imo. You’d need one clean sheet just to break-even points wise but then you’re still burning a transfer that could be used elsewhere to get more points. So really you’d need 2 clean sheets to make it worth it (and that’s assuming Palace don’t keep one in that time, or Henderson saves a penalty or something). This also doesn’t factor in the money you save for having Henderson that can be spent elsewhere. Arsenal have some tough fixtures coming up and I assume you will be wildcarding soon anyway so you can just get Raya then. I say this a Raya owner myself, he’s been worth it the first two weeks but not expecting many clean sheets in the next few GW’s from him.

Most transfers that you reviewing in this video made by people who started with a Salah only draft, hoping that City might have a slow start. However, Haaland just absolutely smashed it so everyone now trying to transfer Haaland in. Thats why they gave up on Isak, Gordon, etc. Gvardiol is the same. Not as attacking as before, so people cut the price on him. At the beginning of the season, everyone tries to pick a balanced team with non-minute risk, long term picks. But after two weeks of time, cheaper and risky options became more certain to play so people just swap the safer picks for players like Smith-Rowe, Rogers, etc. to be able to squeeze in Haaland & Salah, but still have a team that can operate week after week.

Over gw1-2 combined, Haaland and Salah both scored 24 points, so I don't see why people would spend at least 2 transfers to restructure their team like that. I've seen highly ranked teams with Haaland, Salah, both or neither. So right now, it's the players you picked next to them (and whether you TC'd Haaland) that made the difference.

Isak’s output at Newcastle has been very good so far (31 goals in 52 games) and I don’t think that was a fluke so I’d expect him to come good again. Newcastle’s current form isn’t great but it’s only 2 games and even though Spurs is a tough team they should get space in that game. History can sometimes be meaningless but the last 2 results at St James park were 4-0 and 6-1.

One suggestion to every fpl manager….dont go chasing points from players that have already had double digit hauls….its the biggest mistake every manager makes every season. If you missed the points from Jota, esr, Gibbs-White, Raya, Son, Palmer etc etc accept you’ve missed them …..dont go selling Fernandes and Isak cos they haven’t hauled in the first two games…..there’s 36 games to go and everything reverts to the mean but everyone desperate to do something. Tbf to Andy he’s one of the best at constantly pointing this out but most don’t listen.

Ive made my 2 transfers now. Nkunku got yeeted out my club onto his head for Harry Winks to help build money towards Salah and I also let go of Isak and upgraded him to Watking ahead of their very favourable set of upcoming fixtures. I get Watkins hasnt been at it, missing a big chance against Arsenal and not playing much past 60 mins but I think personally that the goals are coming and overall he will earn me more than Isak moving forward. Havertz was also tempting but I already have Saka so im okay with him as my primary Arsenal attacker. Love the videos! Keep up the great work 😊

I'm so excited to bank my second free transfer and have 3 to play with next week. An FPL first for me, after playing the game every season for 19 years. I'm gonna wait to see how Newcastle look once Barnes is back and properly fit, but Isak is definitely on my radar to transfer out. Without their entire first choice back line, Newcastle look poor and there are other strikers that look good for less money. I need to upgrade Quansah, Barco and Anderson (I don't want a Fulham double up in defence and I have Robinson). The dream is to get through another 2 weeks, have 4 free transfers and change it all up in one go with the money I can save by not owning Isak. Other option would be to drop Jota, who'll inevitably get injured or dropped from Liverpool's starting XI soon, down to Minteh or Rogers to free up funds to upgrade the rest of my defence

I have Bruno since GW1 because he's been playing at central forward since the FA Cup final. It was indeed unlucky for him not getting at least a return from 2 GWs. But now I'm done with him since it's Liverpool in GW3 and I got another headache in the form of Isak. I have to prepare the fund if I'm about to switch from Isak to Watkins in GW4 or getting TAA since I don't have him. Used to be lenient with Bruno when he wasn't returning, but not this season.

Haaland isn't an elite finisher. He's elite at hunting out chances. He is almost perfectly at his xG over his Man City career. xG under/over performance is a direct measure of finishing ability. For example, Son is an elite finisher he has 104 goals from 75.4 xG (Prem since 2017-18 season according to FBref). Haaland has astronomically high xG which is a combination of his great ability to find chances and City's creativity

@LetsTalkFPL I wanted Rogers in the team this week and if I end up not wildcarding GW6, the money will be really useful for my next few moves. Moving up from Wood for example. Moving Gabriel to Trent is a possibility. Or even Jota to Saka or Isak to Watkins. Ultimately the value the money has to my team is more useful than keeping an asset I think could do ok but not great over a period of 3-5 weeks. I think the point you made about him being fine to keep is valid but I just don't see him bringing in the consistent returns short term to justify not freeing up the money.
