My personal thoughts: Villa's double also contains a table bonus game - Liverpool at HOME. Moyes > Slot. Even if prices were the same and they didn't count towards your 3. We absolutely heard your watch hit the table 🤣

​@@Kaloyan.Dimitrov Moyes and then to either Silva or Emery for me. They both have home games that they'll be slight favourites for in gw26 too, which is acceptable. I actually did the maths for gw24 according to just the win/draw/loss points based on the apparent win probabilities after making my earlier comment. Moyes predicted 7.85 points compared to Slots' 8.64. Accounting for slight additional benefit to Slot from the goal/CS points and that's nearly a 2 point gap. I wasn't expecting that. I also wasn't expecting Bournemouth to be massive underdogs against Liverpool. I think some super computers have been smoking something and that explains what I consider incorrect FPL predictions. Bournemouth have been getting slightly better results and in slightly harder games recently and they're at home. I don't see the justification for those odds and will be putting my money where my mouth is come the weekend.

A Liverpool and Newcastle double would have played out well for my team. Activating The Assistant Manager chip over triple captain sounds good in theory… but I don’t want to remove one of my Liverpool assets. I get your thought process but you have the transfer to do it. I don’t But you are planning like Liverpool have already beaten Spurs to reach the finals. If you active your triple captain this week and then play Slot in AM next week after the Liverpool back to back are confirmed. That would also save you taking a hit this week. This also makes sense for your team since you already used your Triple Captain already. If you still had your TC chip… you may think differently

Slot having a 71% of having 4 matches across two gameweeks is too good to pass up on. I happily sold Allison to get Slot. Moyes only has a 56% chance of winning v LEI (same % as LIV winning too, but LIV are 68% likely to win at Everton). Moyes AM chip could seriously backfire and I trust Liverpool a lot more.

Its 1 extra fixture for liverpool vs activating the chip later - is that really worth a minus 4 given they have relaively tough fixtures this week (think a draw/loss on one of the two fixtures is very possible). Im not sure at all now, used my FTs up and would need to take a -4 for slot or moyes (and im pretty happy with my team). Could now take a risk and activste nothing this week and tc salah next week (as they are better fixtures?)

I actually think it's not worth it at all, especially if you already have 3 Liverpool. Playing AM this week (rather than next) gets you an extra 1 AM game (let's say that's worth about 10 points). But it means you miss out on an extra Liverpool player (2 games so let's say about -6 points vs a single game week player), you also have to make a transfer (-4) and it also means you can't TC (which an average for salah should be worth about +20 points for 2 games). So even ignoring the TC, it seems to not gain anything.

I’m thinking the same thing! Don’t understand why people are panicking so much like using AM chip this gw is a must. Even if you already have 3 Liverpool players and can afford Moyes without taking hits, the chance that Everton will get at least a draw from Liverpool is pretty low and you’ll have to use another FT to switch to a different manager in gw25 anyway. For me, I already have Trent, Salah(TC), and Gakpo, so I would rather activate my AM chip in gw25 and use the free transfer to bring in a player from a team that has DGW. By then, we’ll know exactly which team will double, unlike this week.

​@kroljulian1377 that's literally the point, it's only 1 extra game. What's worth more, 1 extra game of AM or having an extra LFC player and a triple captain for 2 games? The only reason AM gets you a lot of points is because it lasts for multiple gameweeks, 1 AM game in isolation is not that powerful unless your manager hauls from beating higher ranked teams, which is impossible for slot Not to mention spurs could easily just decide to turn up, and in that scenario you can hold your AM chip while others have played it Also, if you use the AM now, you then almost certainly want to triple C in GW 36, which locks you out of using your wildcard or free hit that week, if you triple C this week, you can then AM next week AND youre free for a really powerful wildcard or free hit and the end of the season. That way you have a chip activated for every double GW, put everything ive said together and youll see it makes sense.

I only have 0.7 in the bank. Hi Andy! Thanks for getting the vid / info out so quick!! I have triple Liverpool and £0.5m ITB with no free transfers left. Do you think the best plan is to… Play AM chip on Moyes in 24, then… Transfer Moyes to Emery, Ange or Silva in 25. It would cost a -4 as I don’t have the £1.1m or the £0.8m needed for Emery, Ange or Silva so would have to downgrade a player to save the £0.3m / £0.6m needed. OR… Would you sell TAA or Gakpo to save the money ahead of 25 and play the AM on Slot. It would still be a -4 THANK YOU!

I got the same question. I’m thinking sell Gakpo for Ndiaye because a Gakpo replacement has better options than a Trent one. Also gakpo performed well last week but the weeks before that was two, 2 pointers. Then bring slot in with the money I’ve saved and take the -4 points on the chin. Really touch decision to make.

this is the only strategy you should be considering with triple liverpool. Absolutely no need to go Slot over Moyes when their projections are similar then wait and see who doubles in 25. Just make sure you have at least 0.8 in the bank for Silva or Emery

if you have triple captain available it makes more sense to just triple c salah this week and AM slot next week, especially if you have 3 liverpool already. its ONLY 1 extra AM game youre missing out on if you do this, and id back salah triple c along with the extra liverpool player youd have to outscore that. You can't have min. triple Liverpool, it's max. Having 3 players + Manager from the same team is not possible, just found out it, so Slot isn't either must have or even good enough, when you can have Salah, Gakpo and either trent, Virgil, Diaz or Konate or maybe someone else.

Pls Andy.. ive got henderson gakpo .. should i do gakpo to ndiaye and get slot - 4 doublers, or henderson to pickford and get moyes instead leaving the 3 liverpool players - 5 doublers.

Do you really think between gakpo and Trent that gakpo is the one that should be transferred out for slot? He’s on an insane run of form and Trent would probably struggle to keep clean sheets considering the upcoming fixtures are against in form/defensively stubborn teams. I know Trent offers a lot offensively as well but his output offensively is not as guaranteed as gakpo’s. obvs salah stays in the team no matter what. Thoughts on this?

Took Gakpo out (bought him in last week bohoo) for Wissa and changed Bruno for Mbuemo for a -4 to make funds for Slot Fingers crossed liverpool they beat Spurs

In the presser today Slot said that both Jota, Nunez and Gomez are back in training and will assessed to see if they will be fit for the weekend, with so much time between their two PL matches it is a real risk for Gakpo to maybe get an early sub (I still bank that he starts due to recent form). So I am going Gakpo to Wissa personally.
