Would be surprised if Mambonumberfive goes to Cheltenham this year. I could see him only running once or twice all season. He’s a massive horse who I think could go chasing in 25/26 season, possibly end up in the arkle? Proper gold cup horse in a few years for me 💪🏼

Good luck to the guy, but I am struggling to see any great edge, if as they are, these horses are mostly going to the big yards. Invariably that will mean they will go off short for ordinary novice hurdles. It also means they are short in the ante-post markets as well. You can't very well just throw money at them all. That 1/1 shout was more than a bit over the top. The edge would probably be getting them beat. I watched a few of the more vaunted purchases, and wasn't overly impressed. In fact I preferred a couple who hadn't run over hurdles. Worth noting the horse talked up as being the best juvenile was turned over on the 19 September.

@trevorclarke6956 I read a bit from betfair who said there were 7 odds on winners, and it was not ideal, a more competitive race that will benefit punter. Willie Mullins will send a rated 140 rated horse who is really 155 rated horse. My take is It's not ideal for the bookies to have 7 odds winner with the horses been taken anti post like ballyburn in double figures that returned 2/5.
