Yesssss💛 so Compassion International does short trips do the various countries they’re involved in. The trips allow you to explore the culture, spend time with some of the children there and meet your sponsored child. So that’s what I was referring to 😍😍 thank you so much for watching!!

I'm not sure if I should send a letter ASAP rn before receiving anything in the mail from compassion international or if they will be sending an envelope guide that I should wait for ????

Hi!! You can totally send one without the template. I used the phone app a lot! That way I didn’t have to wait for the guide to come. Do you have the app?! They also provide you with details about the child and their environment on there

For first letter to be , bec no much info about the each individual children situation and details that help u differentiate and choose the child in most need, most info available i find general Also i was wondering about what is it like and how often do we get letter back and forth and how well the relationship between me and the child will be ? Hi Andrew!! When you become a sponsor you DO get a welcome packet. The first video I made about Compassion international was about the welcome packet. If you can’t find it let me know and I’ll send you the link. The younger the child is, the more general the letters usually are because they’re too young to write on their own. My little girl is only 4. You can send as many letter as you would like to them! They usually send a letter every few months. I’ve been sponsoring her for a year now and I’ve gotten a total of 5 letters. The relationship depends on how much you write to them and try and get to know them. It’s a little easier to get to know a child that is old enough to write for themselves because they typically have more to say. I hope this answered your questions! It is against the rules of the organisation to post identifiable information of the child such we photos and names of child and family members. Both of which you have done. This is because it may put the child at risk of being put in danger. That alone is unforgivable but to also use the child's personal life on social media platforms like KZbin is seen as you profiting off the child due to being potentially paid for your content like most content creators do. As a volunteer with the organisation I have looked into you and will be passing along any details I have found pertaining to you to those who deal with such situations and they will then reach out to you in a legal manner to discuss with you and inform you that your sponsorship will be terminated and you will be blacklisted. The child's safety comes first always and unfortunately there will be concerns of whether or not you have ulterior motives in wanting to visit her and have other contact with her. It's against the law to use the children of Compassion and similar organisations, as a "cash cow" regarding less of the amount earned big or small, or as a prop for social media that benefits how others view you. You aren't the first to make this mistake and won't be the last, however although you're likely genuine, many are not. Please in the meantime contact your attorney for advice if you wish. However the most that will happen to you is a letter of regret informing you of your termination, along with a request for an explanation which will be used when they speak to the family to explain.

Also please be aware that any response from you, to myself will be passed along to the organisations legal team with everything else and may be included in the papers given to the child's family during their briefing to inform them of the leak of their personal information.

Aww thanks for this comment! I'm sorry you've wasted your time writing up a chapter book with all of these details. The company page has liked and commented on a few of my videos, and surprisingly (but not that surprising) never mentioned any of the above. I simply made videos like this to share the experience and it turn so many people have reached out about signing up to sponsor a sweet child (sometimes two or three) of their own. I don't make any money from these videos, and I really could not care less who you have contacted or what information you've given about me. Carry on, and if you don't like the content simply stay off of the page.

The majority of these cannot read nor write English. I thought so in the beginning until I had someone visit and learned these children were not getting anything that I sent to them. Money was not spent on these children. For that reason I don't believe in organizations. The majority of these children have never seen meat. I will never be deceived again. I started my own sponsorship in Ghana and Nigeria. I know where the funds are spent on each and everyone.

The children who can’t speak/read/write English have their letters translated by members in the community who do speak/read English. I’m sorry you had such an awful experience!!! Also glad you’ve been able to start your own sponsorship that’s super cool 🙌🏾
