It’s nearly six in the morning, I haven’t slept yet. I picked pile 2. Right now, I’m writing my first book. I just moved back in with my mom. After a really hard break up, it had to change. Pile 2 - AND YES YES YES I was adopted from Russia and was told by russian authority that I was mentally retarded and basically my adopted parents reiterated this, that i was a "miracle". Constantly told to be "grateful" but I believe I was the one who manifested getting adopted to get out of the orphanage. I remember specifically looking out through a wired fence and thinking: "there has to be more than this". being adopted wasn't the greatest thing because the adults i was adopted from were both emotionally unavailable and while i was provided everything that is required for a child, there was no unconditional love (actually my adopted dad blames me that I am the reason, as a 7 year old child, that they couldn't connect with me). I just wanted to share my story, that the message truly resonated and I almost cried listening to it.
