Mam from the begining of your series I taught my 4yr old kid blending letters to read any word by applying blend as u read approach.. I didn't use any of the 7 tips of blending..hope I didn't do it wrong ...he is able to read 3 letters words easily and properly...now my concern is there are many words for which rules doesn't apply n for which I feel I should know it's correct pronunciation for sure before teaching him... one tiny example the word Bass .how to read/ pronounce it?

You can introduce two-letter words blending from the age of 4 and above and then gradually introduce CVC words. Then finally it depends on the child. Some kids do it early and some don't. Go along with your child and you will yourself understand what to introduce and what not to introduce. Thanks
