My best friend and I are no longer friends. Well if we are gonna be honest on here then ok I met this girl in preschool yes preschool and we become best of friends fast forward to middle school i totally forgot about her and one day she called out for my name I turned around and she gave me a big hug it made my day she would do that through 6-7 grade she was the reason I wanted to go to school she was the reason I even tried in school if I ever went to school totally bummed she was there she would tell everyone I was her bff she was basically everything to me, she told me that she missed me when I didn’t see her in school I was so happy those 2 years where the best years with her she told me how much I mean to her the last thing I remember her say was “I’ll be here if you want to talk or anything like that and the last day of 7th grade she signed my goodbye 7th grade school binder she said she will miss me xoxo next this you know covid hit we didn’t talk for 1 year we went back to school in high school we text over the phone but that was it when I saw her at school she would never say hi nothing slowly and slowly we drifted away I was having a ruff school year she said she was here for me and I needed her more then anything I tried talking with her about it she would never respond so I just gave up I tried and tried trying to talk with her later she met a new guy in school and I’m pretty sure she forgot about me and the memories talking with her hanging out hugging making funny videos with her on her phone all of that gone I blame myself cus I liked her I really did but didn’t want to ruin anything and she gave me signs of hugging me wanting to be around me making me happy yet I never caught on I don’t blame her on that but I wanted to be friends like how it was in middle school but i guess not till this day i wish covid didn’t happen and maybe I would have gotten the guts to talk about her about how I feel about her but I didn’t and I indeed miss her there was no girl like that friends who would go out of there way to be that nice to me she now dates that guy and we are like strangers I just truly indeed miss her a lot

So there are many comments on this song, but I have a message. I lost my father exactly one month ago yesterday that just happened to also fall on my parents anniversary. It was unexpected and not a comforting situation. Everyone grieves in their own way and there is no answer on how to deal with the death of a loved one. What I can tell you is that if you have any tension or anything left unsaid, get through the pain and resolve what could have been done. The relationship I had with my father was in ruins this past year and we hadnt spoken during that time. The last thing I said to him was that he was a coward and a liar for circumstances not to be said. Whether or not they were true, there is no amount of money I wouldn't give to apologize and tell him that I love him so much and give him the biggest hug. I would give anything and it haunts me every day. If there is one thing that you can do for me, it is to give your parents the greatest and biggest hug that you can and tell them that you love them. Embrace it and never take it for granted, because once it is gone you will regret it. I miss him so very much. No one tells you how to deal with death and some of us even have thoughts of self harm. I have in the past and still do at times, but deny myself the pleasure in fear of the horrible feeling I have now from my fathers death and my other family members feeling that for me if I were to do something. One thing I can say is that if you are experiencing something similar with the lose of someone, you will have emotions at times you dont expect them and none when you do expect them. Theres no right answer and things will never be the same or normal. A new normal if you will, but youll never forget. Its ok to cry by the way. Never feel ashamed. It means you cared. It doesn't mean things will get better, but stay strong and know that there are so many others feeling the same way at that very moment and that youre not alone, even though you may feel alone. And if you have thoughts of self harm, know that you are worth something even though you may not have found it yet. Id give you a hug if I could, just as I wish I could hug my father one last time.
