Had a Canadian workmate here in Australia, he was getting in the work truck to be taken to the next location and noticed some sturdy looking gloves sitting on the passenger side seat, he said "pretty rugged work gloves" at which point the driver replied "they're mountain gloves for mountain men" trying to sound tough as a joke, canadian replied "you mount a lot of men do ya?". Same guy was slogging it out working in the rain with me, we were drenched from arse crack to toes when the boss came by in the work vehicle and said out the window as he slowly drove past "where else would you rather be" canadian replied "at your funeral". Guy was a laugh, 56 years old and drank a bottle of vodka every night.
