I love the way Dierks responds to McMurray saying a stripper's in love with him. He's just like "Yup, this shit again. Sure bud, very fuckin' cool."

I'm fairly certain this scene has the first time that Wayne just outright tells someone that he does not like them at all, in plain English, without chirping.

I hadn't seen this one yet. So now I know how it started _and_ how it ended. Cool.

Very cool. Very nice, very nice end.

Seeing the actor that plays Dierks in raunchy, so not family friendly scenes is refreshing. I only know him from his Hallmark Channel roles.

Nah. They're just all frozen in time. Happens every 15 years. Once the 15 years are up, they get a new style and are stuck like that. Cycle continues until nuclear war lol

If Wayne had immediately punched Dierks for the way he looked at Katy, I bet it would've done two things 1. Backed him off 2. Alerted Katy that Wayne didn't like him and that he was a degen

Eh but we needed something to look forward to at the end of the season . The cliff hanger was great but the new season started out shitty . They beat up Dierks off-screen .

Wayne doesn’t interfere in what Katy wants, though. I don’t think he’s liked anyone she’s gone out with but lets her do what she wants

Right at the end...he needs to do the quick stand and get between those two...let them know it ain’t gonna happen on his watch.

Do you even watch the show? Wayne will let Katie make her own decisions and kick-ass if they do her wrong. He's cool like that, not some paternalistic dick.

I dk why people hate on dierks he's pretty chill
@joshuawilliams82522 жыл бұрын
It kind of comes off as a personality he cultivated specifically so people would say things like that. But at the very least we know that he was actively looking for other action while he was dating Katie when it was clear she was interested in moving in a serious direction. And as of season 10 we know he's kind of a coward as well.

@@joshuawilliams8252 Agreed. This show writes Dierks so well. From the first moment he appeared on screen, I had a seething dislike of him despite everyone else trying to talk up how cool and chill of a dude he was. Just like it did for Wayne. As someone with a younger sister, you get pretty good at seeing through bullshit personalities. However, sisters don't listen and you can only be there for them when they get hurt.

@@skylineguy376Don’t know you well enough to say you’re a good dude, but you respect your little sister, and presumably women like her… and that’s what I appreciates about ya.
