The wife and I went to a outdoor concert of the letterman and one of the singers came into the audience to have people sing and he came right to me and I sang along with them for the rest of the song and got a good hand. I am now 80 and still listen to them. Bob

I personally think the teaming of Tony, Gary, and Donny as the Lettermen had the best natural harmony of any of the many different lineups. Cetainly they were better then the current Lettermen lineup - even with Tony's marvelous voice. Thank you Lettermen for all your beautiful music.

I've been searching the internet for the Bachelors version of this song (only because it charted "Top 10" on the Adult Contemporary Charts in 1966). The only other charted version was by the Ray Charles Singers in 1964. THIS version beats both other versions for harmony and production (too much drums in the other two). I'm surprised this one didn't chart.
