We should play loose & free. It's at home, & the whole Sports World has ? the team, RD & the fans, so I guess what are we going to be made of. Beat UT

@pberryberry2734 I am concerned that we will not show the fans who we are, I am more concerned that we will reveal who we are coached by (Ryan Day) and who we are owned by (Team up North). So I am going to encourage the team to be nothing that we have taught, and remember the beating that we took at home, and at the hands of Michigan. Playing lose as a goose, that will guarantee another big game loss, Ryan is great on delivering failure in the arena of championship games!

This kind of feels like that Georgia game.. I hear a lot of Doubts coming into this one just like that one. Maybe a lil less intense because that Georgia team was outstanding but it's there. This is @ Home and that matters to me, I know it matters to the boys. I also love seeing the confidence in Knowles, Emeka and Downs.. just hearing them speak let me know where their mindset is.. I know we write off the Mizzou game but all we had to do was score anything on a few drives to win that one. I think this one plays out more like that one instead of a 40 point shoot out. we just score this time JJ Smith needs to be a massive target and early. If Will can't do that, Devon Brown can. Coach day, DEVON BROWN CAN!

@Beaumo66 I am also excited about the players, their talents and enthusiasm. Going back to your mention of Georgia, ahhh yes, I do remember, Ryan squander a nice lead, and as usual he coached himself to another monumental loss. Mr Day continues to place blame on a loss that was of his making. The field goal was a doe or die situation, and we found ourself in that predicament, and as a result of inept coaching. Soooo....when I begin to reflect on Ryan and his inability to coach big games, I lose my enthusiasm, I begin to reflect on reality and my excitement is erased by my depression. I am going to go with what I know, you might consider science, ballgames are won in reality, anything is possible in the land of fantasy.

If the timeless cliché' about the game being won or lost in the trenches is true, it make sense that you would evaluate a football coach primarily on his teams performance on the LOS, and in the case of the Buckeye's the O line in particular. Since Day's arrival the Buckeye's big guys have not been able to consistently execute running plays in zone blocking schemes, often allowing penetration into the backfield, TFLs, and the LOS often ending in the backfield as noted by Urban Meyer on BTN. The bad habits brought on by over-reliance on zone schemes have bled over to non-zone plays. The Buckeye's zone blocking run plays look like a kind of half-assed pass protection where the technique that seems to be taught is to stand-up, let the defenders under pad level, getting set back on their heels, thus surrendering leverage right after the snap of the ball. Our guys just seem to be content with shielding or getting in the way, not staying low and exploding into a defender and driving him off the ball.

@markgrissom I am in agreement with your assessment, more favorable with your observation with the O line, but at the end of the day, that repair has been overlooked, left unaddressed, I think that everything that you have divulged is accurate, and most fans get it, but here is where we split hairs. The HC is responsible for overseeing recruiting, specialty coaches and teams. Hiring and firing incompetent coaches, and creating a winning nucleus, I am sure that Ryan will be well pleased with your overall assessment of his team, and he would be happy to use your reporting, as a Leger in and attempt to validate his excuses, I am responsible for the lives of a fair number of citizens, my responsibility to them and their families, I have and obligation to fulfill my duties without excuses. And so does Ryan, his responsibility to the team, those requirements are not being met, extending time, that will do nothing to help. While reading your post, I determined that you Sir, are above average intelligence. Please put your talent to work, sponsor what is righteous and refrain from that which is broken, statistics that reveal what we already know, that does nothing, to help the sad coaching situation at Ohio State. NO, THE TIME HAS COME, RYANS TENURE IS EXPIRED!

Tennessee QB is the best QB on the field on Saturday, period. And yall keep talking about the cold weather. Tennessee gets cold for real. Stop being soft and looking for angles, just go out there with that 20 million dollar roster and that overpaid coaching staff, and win! It's the EXPECTATION AT THE OHIO STATE! Right? 😂😂 Just win stop making excuses. The weather, Conner Stalions, the flu, and on and on it'salways somebody else's fault. Just win! ✌🏾

Do you really think, Bro, we'd keep saying that stuff it'll it wasn't true?? You actually think we don't have any brains and just blame stuff that isn't true?? Pipe down. Everyone knows they cheated. If they didn't, why did Hairball run like a criminal to his safe house in the NFL? This is stupid af bro. There's friendly bantering between opponents, but TN fans are ruthless and just yap hate speech.

If this game comes down to Ryan and Chip, Ohio State will have zero chance of winning. And for those who fail to recognize the largest problem facing the Bucks, it is not the lack of talent or even the deplorable offensive line. It is the inability to adjust and make changes that turn the game in our favor, look at Michigan, running the ball up the gut, over and over again, nothing to do with talent , it was the wrong formula, rather than change, good old Chipper and Daydreamer, they just rode that horrible strategy to the end. Final Result was a huge loss. MICKEY and Minney Mouse could have coached us to a victory in that game. And all we hear us that we will get them next year. I have heard that (4) years in a row. TIME FOR A NEW HEAD COACH!¡!

@shewr4664 Just a senior athlete, coaching with over 60 years of analytical research and a fair amount of science, and my ringside evaluations are not a product of raw, woke, emotional outbursts. I recognize that Bobby Knight, he would not meet your standard of civility, after all, he had many outbursts, and his fair share of physical altercations, and none of those would be palatable to effeminate men or woke women. But here is something to consider, Bobby was a winner, his record speaks loudly for his accomplishments.It is not neccessary to be popular as a HC at Ohio State, but the title does require winning big games, and losing (4) straight to Michigan is never acceptable. In closing, the Bucks are not in need of a clergyman or the golden rule brigade, at the end of the day, it is about the win, all has been and always will be, challenging my coaching potential or ability to evaluate the failures of Ryan Day. How you feel about me or any other critic, THAT SIR WILL DO LITTLE TO HELP THE BUCKS, OR REMEDY RYAN'S INABILITY, WHILE COACHING IN BIG GAMES..

Who you gonna Hire Einstein
@ronalddawson71382 күн бұрын
@msmith837 Mr Smith, while I make no claims to the person, Albert Einstein, it is fair to say that I am intrigued by his talent, he and I share a passion for quantum mechanics, and his social anomalies, to include not wearing socks, I am comfortable in my own skin also, and finding praise and acceptance with others, I spend little time pursuing things of small value. Now, getting to the point, Mr Smith, I find that you have no complaint with the substance and content of my post, it is my recovery plan that motivates your response, the fact that you have chosen to label me as a Theoretical Physicist , I am sure that was directed as a slander against a critic, a person who finds the problem, and many times lacks a recovery plan. Sooo...Mr Smith...here is my answer, we need a unified body, willing to demand change, and before hiring a new coach, we assemble a team, persons with valuable understanding of Head Coaching, and we follow that up with a litigation team, specializing in contract law. Form a coalition of trained professionals, and move forward WITH OSU Administration and bring this to fruition. Not the answer you were looking for...And by excuse is this, I am a Einstein, not a coach recruiter.
