Chemistry Rank is treated like a syndicate rank in the sense that they say more things relating to generally liking you as a person. Just like other syndicates do. Actually getting the Hex to like you is a completely different story. You actually have to get along with them (ie, say the right things). You most likely said something or a few things wrong which lead to Lettie friendzoning you essentially

Lettie is unique among the Hex in that she has two levels of dating, with ways to earn her full trust in most Rank 5 chats. I wonder are there different lines for the early version of dating before she trusts you fully. 🤔 Unless it auto upgrades you, I think you could get her to move in without ever upgrading, the Rank 6/"Final" conversation even has branches for the first level. (At the first level she will address you on KIM as _solecito_ , at second _corazón_ .) There probably aren't different lines but fun fact nonetheless.
