A lot of thoughts and memories traveled through my head after listening to this. Brandon, I’m happy that you are doing this and it was therapeutic to hear your experience in the town we grew up in. I usually try and stay away from material that is as “close to home” as this is, literally and figuratively. There are so many similar moments and scenarios that I’ve hid from in an attempt to heal or cope with the fact that someone could dislike me for who I am inherently. Listening to your stories regurgitated my own resentment for the town we grew up in and a few of the people in it. With all that being said.. I know that our experiences while similar, were also different and I respect your perspective and look forward to hearing more content driven in the direction of healing and healthy conversation. I can truly say this flagship episode help me heal my mind. To know that I wasn’t alone.

Thank you again for listening! Please do not turn off the video just because you don't agree with something I said. Part of learning is trying to understand new, sometimes uncomfortable, information. If you think I'm incorrect about something, let's grow together. It's all love on this side.
