Here's a question:
If you wanted to purchase a wholly American manufactured RDS, what are your options?
We plan to address this question in an ongoing series here on InRange, this with this video being about the Leupold Deltapoint Pro.
InRange is entirely viewer supported:

Big respect to Leupold to let you test their optics, even tho you gave the first one a really bad review. Also for reacting on things you stated. More companies should act like that. Same with Desert Tech and the MDR, would love to see more content about it, was nice to see it at 2 gun with Varusteleka.

The delta point is solid, but the brightness adjustment on a single button is pretty annoying.

Good stuff. I've had a couple DPPs on two different pistols for use in IPSC for roughly 2 years now, one of them had a failure of the battery contact, which is a known weakspot on the design (certain serial ranges have it bad, early and current serial ranges are much better), how Leupold glue/hold the battery contact in place is not the greatest, but when the issue occurred, Leupold arranged a replacement with no hastle, even here all the way down under in the peoples communist democratic republic of australia.

I own two dpp, 7.5 triangle and 2.5 dot. Amazing quality optics! I've shot in all day rain conditions, I live in east coast Canada, so very humid conditions. Use cat crap on glass if you have issues. I also bring some qtips to clean it emitter, water has never effected my shooting although it can make the dot burst a bit. The triangle dot seems better in rain and in pistols for me personally.
