I am kyungsoo baised that is basically a main vocalist. Kyungsoo once said that he wishes that kai gets his chance to singing in an album and said that kai has honey vocals.. Kai debuted as a lead rapper and vocal, but since EXO is a vocal heavy group and Sehun became also part of the main rapper line, Kai started to sing more and became part of the lead vocal line. He even covered D.O's parts in their concert. Those 'Introductions' just copy and post old or wrong data from websites, without realising knowing anything about EXO

For me Kai is a full package, I really really really like him as an artist. He is good in acting, dancing is his art and passion, singing is his talent he has a very sexy voice, a very good attitude on stage and he is very nice to his fans a good down to earth person. Thank you for this! I remember when the History MV got released and that very first line that KAI sings shook me to the core. He was always shown dancing so I was shocked to hear that his singing voice was LIKE THAT. Hearing him talk for the first time was shocking too cause it was a low, deep, soothing tone. He may not be a main vocal but his vocal color/tone is literally my favorite. Every time an EXO album comes out, it would always be his parts that catches my attention. And then there are those who may not be familiar with his voice that confuses it to be from one of the main vocals. Huhu. Now that he’s gonna release his first solo album, I am so excited to hear songs with only his honey vocals!! Singing or rapping or whatever!! I’ll bask in all the glory of KAI’s vocals!!
