Levan talks about his shape and gives an honest opinion about Devon

Levan is in very good shape and doesn't believe Devon has any chance against him. Levan says he could do an 85 kg pronation lift. However, he doesn't demonstrate it because he doesn't want to crush Devon's fans' hopes.
Levan says he could beat Devon even while losing the wrist, although he doesn't think Devon could take his wrist.
Levan has commented that to be the best armwrestler, it's not just about lifting the most weights. There are other factors such as arm and hand size, your opponent's style, and psychology.

Brian is a serious problem if he decides to go all in. He has trained his whole life and is super disciplined, insanely strong... Already has God level grip and bone density. Now ligament building, support specific conditioning, and technique are what's left. Still a few years to the top, but he certainly could if he went all in. He's bigger and stronger than Levan (except super specific lifts), and there are only a handful of humans on earth that can say that.

​@@joesphrobinette8878 💯% they don't stop steroid use, they only limit it to reasonable levels. You can test to twice the highest natural testosterone levels before you are flagged. Also there are short acting steroids you can take that metabolize in your sleep so you can test in the morning or day and just take before bed. The pros in the UFC have entire teams that developed methods for passing the threshold and pissing clean. These aren't gym bro pharmacists. It's people that get greedy and push the limits or don't have trainers that understand testing protocols that get caught.

I’m the complete opposite. If PEDd were banned, you’d have natty guys versus juiced guys who figure out ways around it so you would NEVER EVER know who is clearly the best. In sports like armwresting, you know these guys are doing literally 100% whatever they can to win, there are no excuses, no asterisks, no question marks. If steroids didn’t exist that’d be cool too, then it would be the same, but they do and id rather these guys take them.

Ermes probably taught Levan that he does not need to be 180 kg to be the strongest MF out there. He was freakish strong at 2/3 the size of Levan - nearly as strong in many positions. Devon teaches everyone specificity. Every opponent has unique flaws and strengths - master at exploiting the weaknesses and avoiding the strengths. Ermes and Dennis against him were eye openers. Both stronger than Devon - still lost. It appears Levan has caught up to many of those lessons. Less huge, more endurance?, retain monster strength, specific training to counter Devon.

How is lifting something while using your elbow on your knee as an anchor and using your back to lean back, lifting with your arm? I’m not in the sport so if I’m incorrect here please tell me, however I do train and that lift seems….useless too me

That particular exercise is isometric and targets the wrist pronators. The way he holds the straps applies a torque that supinates the wrist. Leaning back merely takes the weight off the ground and loads the wrist. If the wrist doesn't rotate, the lift is successful. Seems weird and specific, but that's arm wrestling.

You basically use your entire body to press a man's arm. Also, your elbow can move too as long as it doesn't lift off the pad. Novice fans don't realize this until you really get into the sport.

The psychological game are not reaching Levan as it did for Denis ( a bit ) and much for Ermes. Levan will just come to the table to murder you so it will be a very complicated match for Devon.
