Look at the e giant at 5:00 - opponent spent literally 12 elixir defending a 7 elixir card and it still did 1500 damage, plus importantly it killed almost every single defending troop so there was zero chance for counterpush. Plus it’s great on defence as it pretty much kills everything, 9:42 for example. Definitely not trash.

You having to do mirror earthquakes reminds me of my mirror earthquake goblin giant deck. It's almost 50% spells and doesn't have many low cost troops... and somehow wins, usually just because of earthquake cycle, rascal counters, and goblin giant lures.
