Happy New Year! Iggy, does Sharpie ink on a PH mold transfer to light colors? If you some "reference" lines were drawn on the mold for placing the hood blocking it might be helpful. Congratulations to Jerry!

Any ink transfers. It transfers on dark colors too it just blends in. Might be able to get it off with rubbing alcohol. Just be cautious when and where to mark molds

Great Channel...awesome content! I just started making some of my own holsters. If you don't have trim jigs can you still reasonably use the butterfly molds and vac press? (been considering making a vac table). What is the purpose of the clear material you use for the gusset?

I have almost 300 molds and about 100 trims. So it's possible. I'm making my own inventory of trims with each mold. And the gusset is for strength

@ without a trim jig… do you just cut with the band saw, then sand it? Are trim jigs sold for their corresponding molds?
