I'm sure part of the allure for behemoth is the novelty of 100/100 but I think it comes down to it being an obvious self scaler in a pack full of non obvious scalers. It's the bison of the unicorn pack

Honestly, I like seeing the failed attempts before the successful run, it's like when a song starts ramping up to the good part. It creates a better narrative to the video by maintaining the sense of rising action that you experience while going through the process of getting these runs pulled off. I'll admit I've been prone to clicking off videos a little early when I know the last couple of minutes aren't really showing anything that goes anywhere, it feels like watching a movie that reaches it's narrative climax but still has half an hour left of falling action. Edit: Another interpretation of putting the montage of fails at the end is sort of like a blooper reel, which I totally understand is a fair take and something some people can enjoy, but it's just not my thing, hence my praise for the way this one was formatted.

I try to mix it up where possible, including having failed runs as the main run although it doesn't happen as often any more. The same 'knowing the outcome' logic applies if you always show a fail first. One reason I don't like having a montage first in most situations is that often the fails will just straight up give away final team comps. But yeah narratively it is usually nicer to build up to a win.

It's definitely one of those things where there's no accounting for personal preference and different people just have different reactions. I once had a pretty nasty comment from someone who said I'd wasted their time because the first run was a fail 🤷‍♂🤣
