Level 30 Priest Solo Halion - Ruby Sanctum

I initially tried to do this on my brewmaster monk but noticed he has a 8 minute enrage timer and almost as much HP as an ICC boss so there was no way for me to kill him before enrage on a tank (got him to around 50% on monk)
So I thought about trying on shadow priest which would easily kill him before enrage but i was worried about death since im a clothie.. but i realised a few things
normal ruby sanctum is very underwhelming compared to it's heroic counterpart, the only real source of damage halion does to me is auto attacks every second or two.. and occassionally a breath, the other mechanics of the fight which tend to cause individuals to remember this differently are the beams which can wipe your raid when you get hit by them..
this fight is known to be extremely buggy, bugs ranging from boss despawning randomly or becoming untargetable whilst still hitting you.. the dispel mechanics doesn't seem to go out on me but even if they did it's pretty easy to deal with them, i either mass dispel myself or just let it expire by itself which i can easily outheal the tick,
The Hardest mechanic for halion is supposed to be his P3 which happens when he hits 50% which is extremely hard for me to do solo.. it requires me to go in and out of the light/shadow phase and balance dps in both realms or the boss will gain increase damage in 1 realm and eventually 1 hit me
i had around 7 practice attempts where this was the case but kept pulling just to get testing in.. and this kill video is test pull number 8.. to my surprise when he hit 50% he just never got the Corporeality buff despite it being registered as active via his dialog and on top of my screen.. so i was able to just dps him down and not worry about anything..
a bit of a dissapointment so i still wonder if it can be done if his mechanic had activated properly but maybe ill try again one day
now as for surviving! i use a talent called "void shield" which refills my power word shield from 30% of the dmg i deal, hence why you never see my hp drop below 100%.. it's a pure absorb battle, my job is to do much dps then halion is dealing to me via his auto attacks/breath so that i can perma have a absorb up eating his attacks. He can hit around 3k with his autos at max which is basically 80% of my hp, sometimes he will hit slightly harder with breath, hence why if shield drops i die
what helps is that i have a mistle toe buff giving me a incredible amount of vers decreasing my dmg taken signifcantly combined with Focused Will reducing all melee damage taken by 30%
