Yo cob, I know the robes of arugal are cool, used them to 32 myself... But there is a warlock quest (which gives good xp too) that's fairly easy to complete, and rewards 17int 10stam robes. These stats are double of the arugal robes. The only downside is that you lose the spirit, which is useless for PvP. Arugal robes may be better for grinding with the affli build (spirit bis for drain soul build), but since you like going off meta and preparing for PvP, the warlock robes might be better!

Ye lock DOTs-- get to AV, some dirty gnome casts Agony: kill him, kill his team, win the BG, go home, take a shower, have some dinner, drink a cold one-- fall over Dead. It wasn't the beer. The gnome gets his HK.
