Usually when I finally finish these long term XL projects, there aren't really any good metas for it, so I end up having to use them in the open Great/Ultra League & sure they get some nice wins but don't really have the best time, but the Jungle Cup was literally perfect for Sandygast so I knew with 2 weeks of it, I'd have to showcase it & that really motivated me to grind those final XLs mostly just from walking it as a buddy.

QOTD: Possibly XL Froslass in the UL? (shadow if your hardcore) Only reaches 2330 CP roughly to my knowledge, but ofc has a very unique and good moveset). Didn’t want to make you suffer with a completely awful Pokemon with all that investment lol

Fun fact, I have a random pretty rubbish IV lucky Froslass nearly maxed for the ultra league already, because sometimes my locals are kind enough to save me from making huge stardust investments for every single Pokémon I want to build, so when I was lucky friends I traded for a Froslass & they offered to power it up as much as they had the XLs for. Unfortunately it has got really bad IVs but unless I get a really good shadow version, I think eventually I will power it up the rest of the way.

QOTD: I'm going to give you my master league battle of spice idea because I'll never make it. A team completely made out of 2nd stage evolutions. Porygon2, Rhydon, and either zygard 50% form or ursaring. Zygard double normal could do some real damage as an actual team.

You don't really. Not unless you have some kind of advantage before Abomasnow comes in. If it's in the lead you just play out the one shield with Heliolisk & hope for a breaking swipe debuff but even then there's not a lot you can do after that.

What’s the story behind moat goat? You had it as your buddy way before jungle cup so if you weren’t building it for Vigoroth, what was it for?

Mentioned it in the intro. One of the bonuses for winning the BOS World Championship was that the trainer got to choose & name my next buddy. As the winner of the competition won with a triple level 50 ghost team, they decided to choose a different level 50 ghost type that had been fairly recently released. Most of the things I build aren't meant to be meta breakers, they're just fun XL Pokémon nobody would expect to see in battle.

Yeah! He hasn't been my buddy for the entire time that he's appeared in the intros of my videos because initially I had a rubbish IV one, recorded for the intro but wasn't actually walking it at the time because to maximise XLs you need to power it up to level 40 first so I was waiting for a better IV. Apparently it's been my buddy for 108 days though.
