I've been playing for about 2 months. I am rank 118 as of this writing. Watching Putther's videos got me motivated to play GTA 5 online. I am not new to GTA or online gaming. I am not unfamiliar with griefers either. I have dealt with them since the days of Team Fortress. The level of griefing I have seen with GTA 5 Online is like nothing I have ever seen. I think it is sad that Rockstar encourages it because they want people buying Shark Cards. For the first couple of weeks playing the game, I got nowhere. I wasn't having any fun! I was having nothing but frustration. In the process of fighting off NPC's and players, burning through ammo, having property destroyed, I felt like other people were having a good old time and I was paying real money for it. Screw that! Now things are a little different. I have had only one delivery attacked by another player for a long time. I found a way to avoid practically all of them all the time. I have made my own code of ethics. I don't attack another player except under certain circumstances. If they go after me when I am on a money run, war! If they come after me just for a kill when I am minding my own business, that's another no-no. If I see any player willy-nilly killing other players, I might retaliate. I can't do it like Putther. I am over 60 YO with nerve damage. I have to use whatever other means I have. One thing I do is, and without a word, I'll spam Special Forces on a griefer. Muggers, mercs, and Special Forces until they go away. I'm totally immune from their attacks unless they are a modder. If they are, then I go away. There is no point in sticking around when there are modders. Modders are the biggest losers around. I like luring them into a proximity bomb too. The tunnel right on the freeway is a good spot. I place a bomb at the entrance, then take potshots at them with a sniper rifle as they fly by in my line of sight. When they come for me, BAM! The tunnels are great! I like getting in there with a 4-wheeler and zooming from one opening to the other. They think you are on the surface because people seldom use the tunnels. Thanks for the cool show, and good luck.
