Jinshi need Yuanwu to fill her forte fast while Changli need to do skills and basic attack to fill her forte

yeah but we only need to place his resonance skill though then swap out to jinhsi, its easy to fill her bar with that. my yuanwu is just lv 1 and it all suffice. just one rotation is enough to fill the her forte. jinhsi is better suited if you want to burst down enemy in one go, however if you want a sustained dps then changli is better.

@@AirdropRadarHQ Yeah, more or less. Jinhsi's damage is definitly more backloaded, (or frontloaded, if you have prep time.) while Changli is a bit more evenly split. That said, Jinhsi's DPS is still higher overall, specially if you factor signature weapons. I think Cangli is arguibly better for exploration, but Jinhsi is better on both bosses and ToA. And on 1.2, Jinhsi should become even stronger when Zhezhi's release... Well, Changli orobably has more room for growth after that, since she is still lacking a fully synergystic echo and teammate.

​​@@Aki-hb1jy Difference is that jhinsi 4* team is for helping jhinsi get her forte and hit higher number, changli 5* teammate is to get her help for own number and not changli's. Secondly, changli got AoE while jhinsi nukes one enemy only, it's way more fun wiping whole wave in one go. Hitting 6 enemies with 80k is bigger dmg than nuking one with 160k. Both have own pros so yes it's not "clapping".

Next up it would be cool to see Chang and Jinshi damage comparism with a support since that's Jinshi's forte to do damage - and then having a side by side of them clearing a boss as a dmg per second comparism. Changli here looked really strong and yet I'm reading she could be better while I haven't seen anyone point out that the Jinshi here did below 100k that's hard to pull off actually.

Pretty sure the damage difference between level 80 and 90 would be higher based on how much atk% bonus stats the character has, since atk% scales off of the base attack value from character and weapon only, which increases from 80-90, the higher the level the more base attack, the more valuable atk% becomes. In this showcase the attack increase from 80-90 was only 100 due to having low atk% stats from echos, it would be a higher damage increase for builds with better atk%

@@haze5016 most of the change comes from base attack increase through leveling character and their weapon, which gets multiplied by the atk% bonus on echos etc, but this person had little to no atk% so it didn’t matter much, it only increases by 100-200 from 80-90 for jinhsi atleast, which is very small difference. So most of the damage here is from the higher number scaling from forte. The damage from lvl 80-90 would also be determined by how good your atk% stats are, since they scale off of your base attack, so the higher the level the higher the value of atk%.

Lore wise the dragon is the strongest of the 4 legendary beasts (as far as i knowthat is) which is azure dragon, vermilion bird, white tiger, black tortoise. And i suspect that jue is not the equivelent of the azure dragon which is i assume are jiyan but the golden dragon which is stronger than the 4 beasts above so, yeah it makes sanse that jinshi is stronger than chang li 😊

Sure, that all checks out in terms of lore. However playing Changli in exact opposite of the right way will make her look weaker than she is. Bro busted her load without triggering molten rift 5pc with atrocious post burst rotation. Also even though both his characters are not built well, his Changli stats at lv 90 barely match lv 70 Changli statlines.

Its simply because they're different, jinhsi is a pure hypercarry so of course her damage is higher since her team requires two support, while changli is a dual DPS type who can buff the other DPS while dealing a solid amount of damage+can easily swap cancel.. but they're both were not reach full potential yet since right now their teammate are very limited and not fully synergize.

Jinhsi can't recharge her forte that fast he started the fight with max forte and did not bother with rebuilding the forte again. And if the forte skill didn't crit he has to restart again. Jinhsi also can't do solo run aswell as it's essentially impossible to build forte in solo runs.

Changli rotation made me sick... also not triggering Molten Rift 5pc buff for full burst is giga deceptive on her actual strength. 40k Forte1/ 88k Ult/ 45k Forte2 at 90 is sad. My main acc Changli is sitting on half scuffed echoes and at lv 80 hits: 68k Forte1/ 148k Ult/ 83k Forte2, full rotation being around 580k dmg solo (crit dependent since she only has 67/280). My second acc Changli has pretty cracked 4 out of 5 echoes, but I can't compare her beast mode due to acc being UL 38. Another question, how do you have sub 2k atk at lv90 with her sig? My level 60 Changli has 1873 atk and with current echoes at 90 that will be around 2.5k buffless.

Very good showcase! Jinshi is best damage dealer (for now) but Changli is more fun to play and has 2nd best damage dealer behind Jinshi also future proof unlike Jinshi unless you s6 her which only 1% player who do that then she's future proof
