Currently, I am using Google Cloud NLP service. Is this board support Natural language Processing using machine learning ( ML- NLP) without connecting to Google Cloud ?

Coral Edge TPU is indeed designed to run ML inference on the device without the need for internet or cloud connections. The Coral pages and repositories contain a growing list of examples and pre-built ML models: coral.ai/models

@Dave McManus are you using Mac OS Catalina? there's an open issue with Catalina related to TCP/IP networking using a USB-C connection. It requires a workaround for the time being to be able to SSH (or mdt shell) between a Catalina host and a connected Mendel / Coral DevBoard. @Dave McManus hmm! We've seen issues with MDT shell (that creates a TCP/IP network in the USB-C data connection) with some USB-C cables. Many USB-C cables are for charging only. Pls try different cables and try to find high quality *data* cables to see if that makes a difference. For the Coral DevBoard WiFi network setup, please refer to roughly this part of the second video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZOZoI2raK-jlZY (from 11mins onwards) - on using: $ sudo nmtui to configure the WiFi networks. There are also other CLI options in Mendel OS (derivative of Debian), with the Coral docs here: coral.ai/docs/dev-board/get-started/#3-connect-to-the-internet Let us know how it goes pls!
