I bought the hotdog slider to work with my crane 3 lab. It didnt work. I tried contacting yc onion for a fix, or an update, or a refund, and basically got told its tough luck. Theyre aware of the issues, they have no plan on fixing it, and i cant swap, get a replacement, or a refund. I just lost my money for a useless piece of gear. Theyll never get a penny from me again. Id avoid this gimbal just on the experience of the previous model.

Oh, that’s a huge bummer! My Hot Dog doesn’t work with my DJI natively, but they mention that on their website. I’ve found that running the slider straight from the control and then using my DJI app to program gimbal movements works fine for me on one-off shots. At the end of the day, these sliders are half of what some of the other sliders cost. Until I can afford Rhino, it is what it is.
