My long term plan when it isn't practical even for short shopping trips is to park it in the back yard and hook an inverter up and use it as a house battery... depending on whats available at the time, I might use a commercial solar house battery chassis and controller abd remove the battery from the car, or maybe just some DIY components and leave the battery in the car and keep the car as a lawn ornament (with air-conditioning 😂).

Or in the case of the VR glasses in this video, a server that responds how the glasses expect so they keep functioning.... Ideally theyd publish uodates to the products that strip out the phone home stuff, but an official fake responder would suffice.

Nintendo's 3DS has glasses-free 3D, and the upgraded "New" 3DS has tracking for correcting the 3D effect from off-angle viewing. "New" 3DS works leaps better than the original. It's neat but not sure how large a display I'd want with that tech.

How does this monitor exactly do stereoscopic without glasses? It requires that the eyes see the image from a slightly different angle. Tracking your eyes can only bind your slight head motion to the angle of the viewport, so if slightly you move your head around the camera will slightly move in the viewport and allow you to look around THROUGH the display frame, BUT it will NOT be a stereoscopic 3d image as both eyes perceive the same image, nor will you be able to use your own eye focus, as that requires way higher precision eye trackers glued onto your face. Obviously, this works for one user only, and doesn't seem to bring in a lot of value, every CAD software makes it trivial to rotate the view around the selected item, rather than having to move your head around from your optimal position. A cool gimmick that adds +1 to the reasons to willfully submit to constant observation.
